FORD PUMA 1997 - 2002
The Ford Puma was launched in June 1997 and helped to promote Fords new edge styling. The Puma came with a 123bhp Zetec-SE engine, ABS and power steering. See tech spec for more details. Since its launch the Puma has proved very popular with its good looks and high fun factor. Due to its popularity there is great demand for the Puma with second hand cars holding their value extremely well.
Ford have recently annouced the end of the line for the Puma, production is due to cease at the end of 2001. However, stocks are expected to last well into 2002.
Engine
There are currently two engine sizes available for the Puma, the 1.6 and 1.7. The 1.6 was launched to replace the previous 1.4 engine.
